That’s the one thing ... ...I had a very rich, varied life... As a child - I have these pictures here - ... I was born in Innsbruck and also lived there. And my father's brother lived one floor above us- that was Rudolf Brüll, and they also had a daughter. This daughter was Ilse Brüll. We were together with them a lot. So, I spent a lot of time with Ilse. Rudolf Brüll owned the shop. Back then my father... received his share from his parents, I think, he was a furrier. That was right next door, and my father didn’t - he was more an idealist really - I think, he knew too little about money and that. Anyway ... father went bankrupt. So, now what? Now his brother gave him a job - he was an employee there. He did wallpapering, had trained in Munich and he had very good references... So he - there was a wallpaper workshop in the courtyard, he ran that. And we - the windows were always open - so Ilse and I, when we played tag, we often went out the window, - they really didn’t like that. I’ve done a few things - that would be too long a story. Anyway I had my First Communion, I still have this picture here - as I come out, Ilse is wearing a white coat and is holding the communion candle. And Ilse’s mother, who was very good - at playing Punch and Judy - in Munich dialect. Well, that was great.
